Transfer Funds!

You may now transfer funds from your account to another account! I am working on adding in the ability to transfer funds to the games next.
Once both of those are done, I will start working on the Image Trove. Then, you will see the true magic of the Community in action. :D

The funds page is completed! You may now spend funds, transfer funds, and trade funds! Check it out :)

Minor Forum Change

Those of you who play more than one of my games will really enjoy this update. If you are like me and accidentally forget to choose which game account you are posting from, you have probably been aggravated by the error that pops up telling you you're posting with the wrong account. Then, of course, the frustration sets in when you realize you have to retype your whole message.
I have great news, though. The form (WITH YOUR MESSAGE INTACT!) now displays directly below the error. This means you can choose a different account and post your response without any problems or loss of data :D

Forum Changes

I had accidentally deleted the following links from the forum: Forum List, Search, Subscriptions, and Recent Posts. They have been replaced...sorry for the inconvenience!
For the Community Site only, there are now 25 recent posts displayed on the forum index page instead of 10. I increased the limit because there are simply SOOO many topics that receive responses here on the Community. Also, I put those inside of a scrolling div so that they don't stretch the page too much. :)

Sorry for the uber delay on getting this update out to you guys, but here it is! There is now a link to send a message to another community member displayed right on their community page. No more getting confused with the various community IDs!
This was a complete oversight on my part; sorry for the confusion!!

I will eventually be adding forums for Sim Stables and a way to link SS accounts, HOWEVER, Sim Stables itself will not receive forums (due to it being a "premade" game).

I will be posting an updated To Do list soon here. This will include all of the games, their goals, and what's in the works for everything.

On a more personal note, I am off to feed my ravenous belly before it decides to munch on my keyboard. Hope everyone had a great weekend :D

Ventrilo is a program that allows users to voice chat from anywhere in the world via a microphone (no webcams). Why do I bring this up? I plan on ordering a ventrilo server for the games! I brought this up on Kitten Tracks, and the idea was a huge hit. Sooo...to help pay for the ventrilo server, I would like to host a bit of a sale. Is there anything in particular you would like to see on sale? Please send me a message :)

The ventrilo server will be accessible by anyone who creates a community account (remember, they're free!). There is a limit of 25 people on the ventrilo server at a time. I worked with a ventrilo server for a few months, and really, they're a great way to contact other members. I know I will personally be spending a lot of time in it.
To use the ventrilo server, you will need to be at least 13 years of age. It will be moderated the same way the community site is (PG-13), mods will be able to ban players, and so on.
The vent server DOES require you to download a program to use it; however, I will be able to walk you through setting it up (I'll provide a tutorial with screenshots for doing just that). I believe there is a version of the software for Mac users as well :)
The ventrilo server will provide another way for members to communicate, which is one of the big goals of the Community site.

Special 'Staff' Member Wanted!

I am looking for an active person who would be interested in hosting contests for ALL of my games. Your job would be to organize, advertise, and judge the contests (you would not be responsible for the prizes). You must be familiar with the Community site and SEVERAL of my games. You must be willing to join all of my games (except Horse Rescue SIM, since it's not open), learn them, interact with players there, and encourage player activity on each of the games.

This is a BIG job and will require a lot of time. You will need decent organizational skills in order to perform this job properly. You should have plenty of ideas for various contests that players could do (things as simple as a mini quiz to something as complex as a breed boost).

This position is mostly a volunteer position that would look good on a resume. However, we do offer some compensation for your time in the form of a payment on a game or on the Community. You can choose to receive payment on an individual game (such as DUHS $, upgrade time, extra points added to a horse, or similar).

    The broken links in the chatroom are now fixed (only on future messages posted, though!). Also, you may now view the current number of players online at a glance by hovering over the Interact menu. :)

    I've updated the menu above to use dropdown links. There are 3 links that have not yet found a home on those dropdown menus: Helper Management, Find a Helper, and Top Helpers

    Community Funds

    You may now add funds to your account via the Add Funds page (Manage Your Account -> Add funds). Once you have added funds to your Community account, you can exchange those funds for various packages. Currently, there are two upgrade packages available.
    The first person who adds funds to their Community account will receive a bonus of $10 added. We need to test out the PayPal script :P

    I'm going to make my next priority on here dropdown links (so the site is easier to navigate). I know some of you are having a hard time with the current setup, and I myself am a bit annoyed with it, too.
